The three-day week last week was jam-packed with greatness! Third grade conducted fieldwork at Frank’s restaurant, as they are learning about what people eat around the world. Mr. Smith’s 8th Grade Advisory cooked a pancake and sausage breakfast for 1st Grade because they donated the most Thanksgiving foods for families. Ms. Mencer’s 7th Grade Advisory hosted the Fall Festival to raise money for gifts for kids who are awaiting medical treatment. 8th Grade students, De’Quan and Seamus, organized and hosted a Faculty-Student flag football game as our own unofficial Turkey Bowl. So much greatness happening in our school! We all left for our four-day break with laughter and positive energy. What a great way to begin a long weekend of gratitude!

Parents Night Out – December 7, 6-9 PM
Child care will be provided for CNH students ($10 for the first child and $5 for each additional child). We will serve grilled cheese sandwiches and snacks for the kids and will have a movie and activities for them, as well. Please note that you must stay in the building if you drop your kids off for childcare. We are not providing childcare for you to go out somewhere else. (That will be a different date!)
RSVP so that we know how much food to prepare and how many adults to provide for childcare!
CNH Work Day — This Sunday, December 2, 1-5 PM
It is time once more for us to get together and help around the school. This Sunday, we will help with decorating for Arts Showcase, painting in stairwells and classrooms, fixing small things in classrooms, and small tasks outside of the building. We would appreciate it if you could join us! All skill levels are welcomed. Given the time of the year, most of the work will be indoors.
Please send an email to Facilities Chair, Suranjan Chakraborty, schakraborty@
