Intent to Return Forms and Sibling/Staff Enrollment, 2020-21

TODAY, January 27 is the deadline for current families (grades K through 7) to submit Intent to Return forms for their children for 2020-21 school year.  We ask for this information this time every year in order to determine how many seats we will have available when we conduct our enrollment lottery in February.  Please submit one form per child you have enrolled at CNH.  The form is not designed for information for more than one student. If you do not have online access, hard copies will be available at the front desk.  If you haven’t submitted yours, please do as soon as possible:  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdsTu4iAkCwsYV3mU7AofQXuHQR5-h40IUp-9Xwiv3LS_W6eg/viewform?usp=sf_link

TODAY, January 27 is also the deadline for submission of 2020-21 enrollment applications for children of staff and siblings of current students.  Applications are available in the office or on our website.   You can submit them to the office directly or by scanning and emailing to applications@cityneighborshamilton.org.

Any questions about enrollment for 2020-21?  Contact Stephanie at sking@cityneighborshamilton.org.

First Grade Accepting Book Donations

The first grade classroom is looking for books to help build first graders libraries at home.  We are collecting gently used books from all families. Books will be given to each first grader every week to help build their love of reading and learning.  If you can help in any way, please see Ms. LaShawn or Mrs. Miller in the first grade classroom or reach out to lgardner@cityneighborshamilton.org.

The First Grade Needs Your Recyclables!

In the month of February, first graders will learn about products invented and patented by black inventors. After their research, students will be tasked with recreating their chosen product using found materials.

Please consider bringing in found and recyclable materials to help with our project. Items such a toilet paper rolls, bottles, caps, cardboard, cans, etc. are welcomed! Bring your recycled items directly to the first grade class!

Thank you!

Ms. LaShawn and Mrs. Miller

Square 1 Fundraiser

CNH will be partnering with Square 1 Art for the third time this year to support fundraising efforts. Students in grades K-5 have begun creating pieces of artwork that can be turned into memorable keepsakes. At the beginning of March, students and families will receive a custom catalog featuring their artwork. The school earns a profit for every order placed – they even cover our shipping if we reach 50 orders! We look forward to sharing more information with you as this fundraiser progresses.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us!
