Let the Sun Shine In!

Even though it was hard to crawl out of bed this morning, it is so amazing that we have sunshine until 7:08 pm with daylight savings!  With warmer weather and sunnier evenings this week, hopefully, we will all be able to crawl out from under the weighted blanket of winter and be energized by the sunshine.  Spring is on its way! Just 10 more days until the official first day of Spring…

Happy Week 27, y’all!

–Dr. Shyla.

It’s the same shopping, same deals, AmazonSmile simply donates to the school.

Family Arts Night — What a Success!

From yoga to podcasting to break dancing to printmaking… and so much in-between. It was an amazing evening! Middle schoolers taught the Lindy Hop. Families danced together. People added to a collaborative school mural. What a special night with the best community ever!

New Policy: Late Pick-Up

We have been experiencing an increasing number of families who are late to pick up their child from school at the end of the day. We understand that sometimes things happen on your way to school that might cause you to be a few minutes late.  Unfortunately, some people are regularly late, and sometimes as late as an hour or more after the school day has ended.  We do not have the staffing to accommodate these late pickups.

Please Note the New Policy If you are late three times in a trimester to pick your child up from school or an after-school program, you will be required to sign up with our Aftercare program, UEC, so that we can send your child to aftercare if you are late again. Please make every effort to be on time to pick up your child at 3:15 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays as well as at 1:00 on Wednesdays. Thank you!
